Benché nell'ultimo cinquantennio l'ISTAT abbia registrato un progressivo calo dei matrimoni, è aumentato il numero delle Agenzie di Wedding planner ed eventi: se ne contano circa 100 in tutta Italia con il compito di organizzare 8000 dei 250000 matrimoni annui. La prima Agenzia di W.P. in Italia risale al 1997. La crescita numerica di tali organizzazioni non è quindi in contrasto con i dati ISTAT: se è vero che ci si sposa meno, è altrettanto vero che ci si sposa "meglio".
L'evento procrastinato nel tempo, in attesa del momento giusto, frutto di una scelta consapevole di coppie "mature", spesso provenienti da un'esperienza di convivenza (che può accrescere il dato quantitativo di base), non viene lasciato al caso.
Lo status degli sposi, nella maggioranza dei casi impegnati ambedue nel lavoro, ha due fondamentali conseguenze:
" minor tempo a disposizione per predisporre tutti i preparativi
" maggiori possibilità economiche che permettono di demandare ad altri i fastidi legati all'organizzazione
Nel nostro Paese le aspettative legate all'"evento matrimonio" sono cambiate perché è cambiata la nostra società: siamo davanti a una managerializzazione di un evento legato alla sfera privata, cosa impensabile fino a pochi anni fa. Diversamente da quanto accade nei Paesi anglosassoni, dove il matrimonio è un investimento da inserire in un business plan.
Non è semplice organizzare al meglio un matrimonio. I ritmi frenetici della vita quotidiana non lasciano agli sposi la tranquillità e il tempo per dedicarsi al meglio ai preparativi. Anche parenti e amici sono impegnati e i compiti e i ruoli, un tempo ben definiti, sono a carico degli sposi. E' in questo contesto che si colloca la figura del wedding planner. E' un esperto del mercato dei servizi. Alla base del suo lavoro c'è un'accurata selezione delle figure professionali e delle locations più idonee per realizzare un servizio accurato e sempre all'altezza delle aspettative. Riesce a coniugare la qualità del servizio con la disponibilità economica degli sposi; garantisce agli sposi il rispetto dei costi e dei tempi stabiliti in fase di preventivo. La scelta di dell'abito è forse la decisione più importante, ma quella da mettere in prima posizione è il ricevimento. La scelta del ristorante o agriturismo richiede dispendio di risorse, tempo, conoscenza del gusto e dei prezzi. Per questo molte coppie trascorrono settimane intere sulla scelta della location perfetta.
Segue l'incontro con i vari fornitori: animatori, fotografi, fioristi, artisti, gioiellieri, tipografi, negozi di bomboniere, negozi di vestiti da sposa e sposo, negozi per le scarpe…solo alla fine un'agenzia di viaggi per scegliere una meritata e riposante luna di miele. Marriage institution has never disregarded, notwithstanding difficult periods, and it has characterized human history. Nowadays men and women are constantly busy for work and they have little time to devote to the long necessary preparations for a perfect wedding. There is also a great awareness to have a customized and personalized unforgettable party, but at the same time difficulties in selecting and planning are perceived. And for this reason on the domestic and international market the professional figure of the wedding planner is emerging.
Our objective is to offer a management for weddings without skipping the other events, basic life stage for people and firms. We'd like to specify our idea of enterprise wasn't born in improvisation, but according to a long experience matured in different fields by some company members.
After a decennial experience in events and art exhibition organization, we have accepted the demand to develop a commercial field that could contain all our project, managerial and creative abilities.
The Wedding Planner
Although in the last fifty years ISTAT (Italian Institute for Statistics) has recorded a progressive decrease in marriages, the number of Wedding Planner Agencies has increased: there are about 100 in Italy for 8000 to 250000 weddings per year. The first Wedding Planner Agency in Italy goes up to 1997. The numerical growth of such companies is not therefore in contrast with ISTAT data: if it is true that marriages have decreased, it is also true that they are "better."
Awaiting the right moment, fruit of an aware choice of "mature" couples, often coming from a cohabitation experience (that can increase the base quantitative datum), the time procrastinated event isn't left to chance.
In most of cases, bridegrooms are busy in their job, with two fundamental consequences:
"Little time for all preparations";
"Greater economic possibilities that allow others to be submitted for the preparations".
In our country expectations related to the "wedding event" have changed because our society has changed: we are in front of a managerial setting of an event related to the private sphere, unthinkable few years ago. Subsequently the meeting with suppliers: animators, photographers, florists, artists, jewellers, typographers, favours shops, shoe shops, boutiques…, only at the end a travel agency for a deserved and restful honeymoon. But what a stress, time, nervousness… So a person like the "Wedding Planner" would resolve everything.
